VIGCraft Arts, Inc. was founded in May of 2003 and was later incorporated as a partnership between John Viggiano and Ben Haynes in May of 2004. As undergraduates at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, New York, Ben and John studied IT and Electronic Media in the Arts & Communications (EMAC). Each obtained a bachelor’s degree and studied a wide variety of disciplines within their core studies and majors. As one of the first schools in the country to offer a degree in EMAC, Rensselaer is on the cutting edge in electronic media studies and theory. By combining their talents and recruiting some of the best digital artists in the country, they embarked on a journey that led them to Syracuse, NY where they ultimately decided to found their business. Having lived in Syracuse for most of their lives they felt a connection to the area and understood what could be accomplished there.

Having built a sturdy client base in the last two years, VIGCraft Arts, Inc. is setting their site on a national audience. While continuing their work in Central New York and encouraging more and more local businesses to utilize their services, they are not shying away from work throughout the United States.

“We consider ourselves part of the new creative class that is burgeoning in Syracuse,” continues John. “We would very much like to support our local economy by creating jobs and by helping our local customers sell their products and services.”

“Absolutely,” adds Ben, “But we will not shy away from doing business on a national scale. There are a considerable number of businesses that would benefit greatly from the services we offer. When you think about it, every new business that’s started should strive to build some kind of viable marketing identity, and our company is well equipped to help them build that identity on any scale imaginable.”

“And that’s the beauty of it,” concludes John, “We run this business in Syracuse because we have pride in where we come from, but in the end we can do business with anyone, anywhere. That’s what is possible in the world we live in today. Anybody can sell their products anywhere – a small business, a big business…it doesn’t matter – and we love showing people how to do it! For us the satisfaction of our customers becomes our own satisfaction.”
